He looks back and gives Kali a mean glare. She just smiles.-----------Ka li's POV: Haha, that's what he gets. I was just trying to be nice. ----------As Kali is riding down the mountain she stops about halfway and sits down and looks out at the view. "Wow.." she says to herself. Somebody comes up right behind her and stops theirself, causing snow to wash over Kali's body.Kali: What the-???: Beautiful, huh? (talking about the view)Kali turns around only to discover that the person who the mysterious voice belonged to happened to be Ned, the guy she had met at the rental shop earlier. She immediately started blushing upon her discovery.Kali: Umm yeah definitely.Ned just stares at her. Kali: What is it this time? *starts touching her face*Ned: Your cheeks are awfully red.Kali: Oh.. yeahh. It's.. umm.. really cold out here. *glances away*Ned: Good job getting off the lift. *smiles*Kali: *looks back at him quickly* Were you following me?!Ned: *comes up and sits beside her* Absolutely not! *sarcastically* We just happened to be at the exact same place at the exact same time. *Cleverly grins*Kali: *sarcastically* Oh sure. *smiles back*--------------- Kali's POV: Wow. Is this really happening?! This guy is gorgeous! Oh man look at the way he smiles! I wonder if he has a girlfr- wait Kali! Stop thinking about that! You don't even live here. Things would never work out. He probably has a girlfriend anyway.------------- -----------Isabel, Catherine, and David:Catherine: Babe, guess what?David: What?*Catherine shoves a pile of snow in his face*David: Oh man! You're gonna get it now! *grabs a ball of snow and puts it down the back of her shirt*Catherine: Okay! Okay! We're even! Truce? *holds out her hand*David: *smirks* That's not how I handle my truces. *leans in for a kiss*Isabel interrupts them.Isabel: Okay! Enough already! You're wasting time! Let's go!They had already gotten sleds and were walking up the hill they were going to sled down. Catherine and David were of course going together in the same sled. Isabel was getting annoyed by their continuous flirting and displays of affection so when they started going down the hill, Isabel veered off in another direction.---------- -------Ned's POV: *staring at Kali*Wow this girl is really cute. And she snowboards! How hot is that?! Maybe I should have just been real with her. I mean come on. Ned? | "A Kevin Jonas Love Story" chapter 31Thu, 20 Nov 2008 23:43:08 -0800 by MAthas723I haven't slept in days. It could very well be because Kevin has been tossing around in his sleep. I think he's been having nightmares but he hasn't told me yet. I rolled out of bed and went to start getting ready for work. I suddenly heard screaming coming from the room. I ran in to check on Kevin and he was curled up on the bed, shivering. Me: Kevin *shaking him lightly* wake up.Kevin: *shaking his head* What's going on.Me: Sweetie, you were dreaming...again. Is there something you want to tell me.Kevin: No, I'm Ok, really... just can't sleep. Sorry I woke you so early.Me: That's Ok, I have to go to work anyways.Kevin: mmmm, stay here with me. Me: I can't, I have to go. I'm gonna finish getting dressed.I started to get up and go to my closet and get out my clothes. Forgetting that he's just watching I started to get undressed and change into my work clothes.Kevin: god, that's so hot.Me: jeez, can't I get dressed in piece. *giggling*Kevin: you have a habit of undressing while people are watching don't you.Me: Hey, I can't complain. That's how I got you in my bed in the first place.He smiled at me and then I finished getting dressed. I waited for Nick to get there. He's really been a lot of help. It's a good thing they had time off from school for thanksgiving break or I don't know what would've happen. Half way through the day I get a frantic phone call from Nick saying he has to leave. Emily was rushed to the hospital and he has to go right away. I left my desk and ran straight upstairs. He barely could tell me the story and ran out the door. I yelled to him to make sure to call me when there was news. I asked Kevin if he knew what happened and he said something about she was having pains and then they just rushed her there. Me: I better go see if he gets there OK and if she's ok. He shouldn't be alone.Kevin: It's ok. I'll be fine. I've been getting around better on my cast now. I'll try not to get up to much and if I need help I'll call Joe or something.Me: yeah, that's a lot of help. I'll be back soon *kisses him goodbye*Nick's POV................. ....I get to the hospital and they tell me that she called 911 because she had doubled over in pain and she didn't know what to do. I wish I had been with her. She probably felt so alone. I sat down on a nearby bench. I felt the tears start to spill and I couldn't stop them. Just then I heard a familiar voice call out my name. I looked up and It was Maria. I was a little shocked to see her. I wipes the tears from my eyes and stood up. She ran up to me and hugged me.Nick: What are you doing here?Me: I was worried about you and she's my friend so I needed to make sure everyone was Ok. Nick: good I could use the companyWe sat there for hours before someone came out to tell us what was going on.Doctor: Well, here is the deal. She had appendicitis. We took out her appendix just in time. She'll be fine now. I think you should call her parents but as far as visiting her maybe tomorrow. She'll be in recovery for a while.Nick: Thank you doctorMe: Well now that I know she's gonna be OK I should get back to Kevin. He's probably trying to figure out how to get dinner for himself.Nick: *laughing* thanks I needed to laugh. Let me walk you to your car.I walked her out to the parking lot and we leaned up against her car and talked for a few minutes.Nick: that was real nice of you to keep me company, you didn't have to stay this whole time with me.Me: Nick, you did it for me when Kevin was here. You were there when I needed you. It's the least I could do.I leaned in to give her a hug and we kinda sat there for a minute. I realized that it was probably to long but when we pulled apart I was overwhelmed with emotion from all the events of the night that I pulled her back to me and kissed her. Her lips were soft and she was so warm. I opened my mouth a little more to get a deeper kiss and I realized she wasn't kissing me back. Nick: *let's go of her and puts his hand on his head* I'm so sorry. I was caught up in the moment. We are always there for each other and it felt comfortable. I'm so sorry.
