I'd show you how to do it, but there's a few problems with doing that. 1st, my gaming videos were recorded with my camera on top of my Guitar Hero drums, but my cymbal broke and I put my GH drums away. My Aunt Eleanor Quigley used a hand-held movie camera sometime around 1958 to record these family scenes in the backyard of her home in Granville, Ohio with Uncle Bill, and cousins Steve, Lincoln, Dale and Hope in attendance. Also featured in this 5-minute film are my parents, Harold and Wilma Quigley, and my siblings Harriet, Mike, Glen and Meg. I believe we were either on our way to Indianapolis, Indiana or returning to Haverstraw, NY. Pictured in the movie is Dad's 1953 or '54 Beige Chevrolet station wagon. I can hardly remember what it was like for all seven of us to be together in that car for the two-day trip. All and all, it looks as though we had a grand time in Granville. I vaguely remember a side trip to Old Man's Caves in southern Ohio around this time. Some of us rode in Uncle Bill's elegant Buick. So we must have spent at least a couple of nights or more with our Ohio relatives. I wish I had better equipment. The quality of the transfer from 50-year-old film to digital leaves a bit to be desired. I can only wonder how many cardboard boxes in how many attics over how many different moves across how many miles this film strip must have travelled before it finally got here to YouTube.
