| Dumitru Duduman Warning America Part 2 of 10Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:04:10 -0800 by krazeekooladamhttp://www.handofhel p.comDumitru Duduman was born to George and Escaterina Duduman on July 14, 1932 in Hintesti, Romania. His native village is situated in the northeastern part of Romania near the Russian border. Here Dumitru was brought up in the knowledge of God by his parents, but most of all from his grandfather, Costache, whom he loved deeply. He grew accustomed to religious persecution at a very young age seeing his father and older brother, Costache, put in prison for their beliefs. Although the rest of the family had not been arrested, they were ordered to hard labor in the Communist farmland projects.Even though Dumitru had been brought up in a Christian home, by the age of fourteen he had started wandering from God. At the age of seventeen he rebelled and joined the Romanian army. His rejection of God saddened his parents greatly and for many months they prayed for him continually. Dumitru spent the first eight months of his army career in the Chitila boot camp. Even today this boot camp is well known for it's harsh treatment of new recruits. After finishing boot camp, Dumitru was one of few soldiers chosen to go on to the Constanta Military School. He started in Constanta in 1951 and stayed there four and one half years. Upon his graduation, Dumitru received a diploma and was given the rank of Lieutenant in the Marines. Soon he had eighty men under his command. In 1984, after years of intense persecution, a Romanian evangelist, Dumitru Duduman, was thrown out of his country for smuggling Bibles into Romania and Russia. With the help of the American Consulate, Dumitru and his family came to America. They were picked up at the airport by a Russian agency and taken to a small apartment in Fullerton, California. The apartment had no furniture or beds and to make matters worse, the previous occupants had allowed their dogs to urinate all over the carpeting. Feeling abandoned and discouraged, Dumitru asked God why he had brought him to America. God began to show Dumitru why he was brought to America and the incredible task that lay before him. The following are excerpts from Dumitru's books, "Through the Fire Without Burning" and "Dreams and Visions from God", from his video, "Wake Up America" and from his "Hand of Help" newsletter. These excerpts are not meant to form a message of fear, but to present a message of hope to all those who will stop sinning and turn to God. As I read the following excerpt from a Reuters report, I was reminded of the prophetic vision of Dimitru Duduman which the Lord gave him to share with the people of this nation who had ears to hear. Dimitru is one of many prophets who have shared that the land called America would become desolate. Perhaps very soon!http://www.hand ofhelp.comVisit YouTube Channel: Hand Of Help Video Ministry Related: prophecy club dimitru bombs war usa prophetic dream vision warning 666 church christian end times america russia tribulation jesus yeshua nuclear perry stone dumitru duduman | |

| Close Encounters Of The Third Kind - Special Edition TrailerFri, 09 Jan 2009 15:03:44 -0800 by foxter65Steven Spielberg followed Jaws (1975), his first major box-office success, with this epic science fiction adventure about a disparate group of people who attempt to contact alien intelligence. Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) is an electrical lineman who, while sent out on emergency repairs, witnesses an unidentified flying object, and even has a "sunburn" from its bright lights to prove it. Neary's wife and children are at first skeptical, then concerned, and eventually fearful, as Roy refuses to accept a "logical" explanation for what he saw and is prepared to give up his job, his home, and his family to pursue the "truth" about UFOs. Neary's obsession eventually puts him in contact with others who've had close encounters with alien spacecraft, including Jillian (Melinda Dillon), a single mother whose son disappeared during her UFO experience, and Claude Lacombe (celebrated French filmmaker François Truffaut), a French researcher who believes that we can use a musical language to communicate with alien visitors. Lacombe's theory is put to the test when a band of government researchers and underground UFO enthusiasts (including Neary) join for an exchange with alien visitors near Devil's Tower, Wyoming. In 1980, a "Special Edition" was released. While its primary selling point was the addition of scenes inside the alien spaceship, Spielberg claimed that he also cleaned up some choppy editing in the second act.Richard Dreyfuss - Roy NearyFrançois Truffaut - Claude LacombeTeri Garr - Ronnie NearyMelinda Dillon - Jillian GuilerCary Guffey - Barry GuilerBob Balaban - David LaughlinJ. | Cleopatra - Original Trailer 1934Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:02:53 -0800 by foxter65Film historian William K. Everson once observed that the secret to the success of Cecil B. DeMille's 1934 Cleopatra is that DeMille subtly reshaped the known historical events into a contemporary "gold-digger makes good" scenario. Exhibiting the same determination with which Barbara Stanwyck sleeps her way to the top in 1933's Baby Face, Queen Cleopatra (Claudette Colbert) uses her feminine wiles to become sole ruler of Egypt. By turns kittenish and cold-blooded, Cleopatra wraps such otherwise responsible Roman worthies as Julius Caesar (Warren William, who wittily plays his role like one of his standard ruthless business executives) and Marc Antony (Henry Wilcoxon) around her well-manicured little finger. To emphasize the "contemporary" nature of the film, DeMille adds little modernistic touches throughout: The architecture of Egypt and Rome has a distinctly art-deco look; a matron at a social gathering clucks "Poor Calpurnia...well, the wife is always the last to know"; and, after Caesar's funeral, Mark Anthony is chided by an associate for "all that 'Friends, Romans, Countrymen' business!" Cleopatra's barge scene and her suicide from the bite of a snake marked two of the most memorable sequences in DeMille's career. Remarkably, for all the enormous sets and elaborate costumes, Cleopatra came in at a budget of $750,000 -- almost $40 million less than the 1963 Elizabeth Taylor remake.Claudette Colbert - CleopatraWarren William - Julius CaesarHenry Wilcoxon - Marc AntonyGertrude Michael - CalpurniaJoseph Schildkraut - King HerodIan Keith - OctaviusC. | City For Conquest - Original Trailer 1940Fri, 09 Jan 2009 14:56:59 -0800 by foxter65There are three key characters in Anatole Litvak's filmization of Aben Kandel's novel City for Conquest, as opposed to the six or more in the book -- but the real star, to a large extent, is New York City and its entire population. For purposes of the movie, however, the dramatic arc is linked to James Cagney, as honest, unpretentious truck driver Danny Kenny, whose life is involved with two other people -- his kid brother, Ed (Arthur Kennedy), a gifted musician trying to survive in the rough-and-tumble world of New York's Lower East Side, and Peggy Nash (Ann Sheridan), the neighborhood girl from the Lower East Side whom he's loved, one way or another, since he was a kid. Danny is happy doing what he does, driving a truck, but when Ed's scholarship is cut in half, he reluctantly takes an offer of a boxing match to raise the cash he needs, going into the ring under the fighting name "Young Samson." At about the same time, Peggy -- who loves to dance -- has her head turned by Murray Burns (Anthony Quinn), an ambitious but sleazy aspiring professional dancer. Eventually Peggy goes into partnership with Murray and is ultimately driven by her own ambition to leave Danny after she accepts his marriage proposal. By now, he's getting up in the boxing world, and in his bitterness over losing Peggy he accepts a bout for the world's welterweight championship. He's not overmatched as a boxer, but the money involved in this fight is just too big for it to be honest, and Danny is left all but blinded when his opponent's handlers slip resin dust onto his gloves. Danny is left seemingly a shell of a man, though he's content with his lot in life as far as it goes. He doesn't want any special attention or favors from anyone; the only thing he would like, though he's too proud to admit it, would be for Peggy to come back. But by now her dancing career with Murray has fallen apart, and she's too tortured by guilt, over the sequence of events she helped start, to come near Danny. It falls to Ed, who has never given up composing, to express the inexpressibles that each of these characters feels through his music. His first major classical work is a symphony ostensibly about New York City, which he conducts in its premiere at Carnegie Hall; but it's also about Danny and his life, and his dreams.James Cagney - Danny KennyAnn Sheridan - Peggy NashFrank Craven - Old TimerDonald Crisp - Scotty McPhersonArthur Kennedy - Eddie KennyFrank McHugh - MuttGeorge Tobias - PinkyBlanche Yurka - Mrs. NashElia Kazan - "Googi"Anthony Quinn - Murray BurnsBob Steele - CallahanGeorge Lloyd - GoldieMurray Alper John Arledge - SalesmanLucia Carroll Joyce Compton - LillyJerome Cowan - DutchJoseph Crehan - DoctorPat Flaherty - Floor GuardEdward Gargan Thurston Hall - Max LeonardMaggie Hayes Howard Hickman Selmar Jackson - DoctorEdward Keane - GaulCharles Lane Ethelreda Leopold - Dressing room blondeSidney Miller - M.C.William Newell Lee Patrick - GladysEdward Pawley Lee Phelps Bernice Pilot Billy Wayne - HenchmanBen Welden - CobbDick Wessel Charles Wilson Related: city for conquest - original trailer | |

| Citizen Kane - Original Trailer 1941Fri, 09 Jan 2009 14:55:16 -0800 by foxter65Orson Welles first feature film -- which he directed, produced, and co-wrote, as well as playing the title role -- proved to be his most important and influential work, a ground-breaking drama loosely based on the life of William Randolph Hearst which is frequently cited as the finest American film ever made. Aging newspaper magnate Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles) dies in his sprawling Florida estate after uttering a single, enigmatic final word -- "Rosebud" -- and newsreel producer Rawlston (Phil Van Zandt) sends reporter Jerry Thompson (William Alland) out with the assignment of uncovering the meaning behind the great man's dying thought. As Thompson interviews Kane's friends, family, and associates, we learn the facts of Kane's eventful and ultimately tragic life: his abandonment by his parents (Agnes Moorehead and Harry Shannon) after he becomes the heir to a silver mine; his angry conflicts with his guardian, master financier Walter Parks Thatcher (George Coulouris); his impulsive decision that "it would be fun to run a newspaper" with the help of school chum Jedediah Leland (Joseph Cotten) and loyal assistant Mr. Bernstein (Everett Sloane); his rise from scandal sheet publisher to the owner of America's largest and most influential newspaper chain; his marriage to socially prominent Emily Norton (Ruth Warrick), whose uncle is the President of the United States; Kane's ambitious bid for public office, which is dashed along with his marriage when his opponent, corrupt political boss Jim Gettys (Ray Collins), reveals that Kane is having an affair with aspiring vocalist Susan Alexander (Dorothy Comingore); Kane's vain attempts to promote second wife Alexander as an opera star; and his final, self-imposed exile to a massive and never-completed pleasure palace called Xanadu. While Citizen Kane was a film full of distinguished debuts -- along with Welles, it was the first feature for Joseph Cotten, Everett Sloane, Ray Collins, Agnes Moorehead, and Ruth Warrick -- the only Academy Award it received was for Best Original Screenplay, for which Welles shared credit with veteran screenwriter Herman Mankiewicz.Orson Welles - Charles Foster KaneJoseph Cotten - Jedediah LelandEverett Sloane - Mr. BernsteinDorothy Comingore - Susan AlexanderRay Collins - Boss Jim GettysRuth Warrick - Emily Norton KaneGeorge Coulouris - Walter Parks ThatcherPaul Stewart - RaymondBuddy Swan - Kane as ChildAgnes Moorehead - Kane's MotherHarry Shannon - Kane's FatherSonny Bupp - Kane IIIErskine Sanford - Herbert CarterWilliam Alland - Jerry ThompsonGeorgia Backus - BerthaPhilip Van Zandt - Mr. RawlstonGus Schilling - HeadwaiterFortunio Bonanova - Signor MatisteCharles Bennett - EntertainerJoan Blair - GeorgiaEdmund Cobb - Enquirer ReporterEddie Coke - ReporterGino Corrado - GinoHerbert Corthell - City EditorLouise Currie - ReporterPedro de Cordoba - Kane seniorRobert Dudley - PhotographerAl Eben - MikeEdith Evanson - NurseArthur Kay - Orchestra LeaderMilt Kibbee - ReporterAlan Ladd - ReporterEllen Lowe - Miss TownsendIrving Mitchell - Dr. CoreyArthur O'Connell - ReporterBenny Rubin - SmatherWalter Sande - ReporterTudor Williams - Chorus Master Related: citizen kane - original trailer | |

| Cinderella Jones - Original Trailer 1946Fri, 09 Jan 2009 14:53:07 -0800 by foxter65Busby Berkeley directed this lightweight musical comedy in which Judy Jones (Joan Leslie) is informed that she's due to receive a $10 million inheritance, but with one very large string attached: she has to marry an unusually intelligent man. With the call of her checking account ringing loudly in her ears, Judy gives her boyfriend Tommy Coles (Robert Alda), the leader of a dance band, his walking papers. She next enrolls in a (previously) all-male Institute of Technology, where she figures that bright boys will be easy pickings. However, snaring her dream man proves more difficult than she imagined, and she finds out that Tommy is a lot brighter than she originally thought. Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne wrote the songs for this film, which include "You Never Know Where You're Goin' Till You Get There" and "When the One You Love Simply Won't Love Back."Joan Leslie - Judy JonesRobert Alda - Tommy ColesS.Z. | Cimarron - Original Trailer 1960Fri, 09 Jan 2009 14:51:45 -0800 by foxter65Cimarron was the first Western to win the Oscar for Best Picture--and, until Dances with Wolves in 1990, the only one. The film begins on April 22, 1889, the opening day of the great Oklahoma Land Rush on the Cherokee Strip. Boisterous Yancey Cravat (Richard Dix) is cheated out of his land claim by the devious Dixie Lee (Estelle Taylor). Instead of becoming a homesteader, Cravat establishes a muckraking newspaper, and with pistols in hand he becomes a widely respected (and widely feared) peacekeeper. He also displays a compassionate streak by coming to the defense of Dixie Lee, who is about to be arrested for prostitution. Cravat's insistence on sticking his nose into everyone's affairs drives a wedge between him and his young wife Sabra (Irene Dunne), but she stands by him--until he deserts her and her children, ever in pursuit of new adventures. Sabra takes over the newspaper herself, and with the moral support of her best friend, Mrs. Wyatt (Edna May Oliver), she creates a powerful publishing empire. Cimarron makes the mistake of placing most of the action early in the film, so that everything that follows the spectacular opening land-rush sequence may feel anti-climactic. While it's always enjoyable to watch Irene Dunne persevering through the years, it's rather wearing to sit through the overblown performance of Richard Dix, who seems to think that he can't make a point unless it's at the top of his lungs. Cimarron creaks badly when seen today, but it still outclasses the plodding 1960 remake.Richard Dix - Yancey CravatIrene Dunne - Sabra CravatEstelle Taylor - Dixie LeeNance O'Neil - Felice VenableWilliam Collier, Jr. - The KidRoscoe Ates - Jess RickeyGeorge E.
