How do I remove the scam program “Personal Antivirus”?

I’ve already done the obvious things…such as going to Add/Remove Programs and I’ve deleted cookies. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

use malwarebytes from download.com

Personal antivirus is a rogue security program. It can’t be removed as a regular program. Detailed Personal Antivirus removal guide:
