Im sure there are some conspiracies
I do not believe the 9/11 or JFK ones however
The difference is the terminology one chooses to use. One may call it conspiracy, while another will call it classified information. Similar to the terms revolutionary and terrorist, if you read their definitions, the 2 are identical. It’s more of a you say tomato and I say tomato kind of deal. Of course our government covers up things, and of course there are those in our government who abuse their powers to keep things classified and use that power to their own personal advantage of net gains. Some will argue that it is necessary to have classified information so that the safety of our nation is not put at risk, which, I must say to an extent I agree some things should be kept classified, such as the location of nuclear weapons, but others, the guy in charge is simply covering his own behind. The issue then becomes is there a way to distinguish the two from a legal stand point. One could argue that the only way to tell whether or not it was in fact necessary to classify information is to declassify it, and if we declassify certain information, then it could in fact put our country at risk. So, I guess the American people will just continue to get bent until we get someone in office who is not corrupt.
It is a lot easier to suspend intellectual curiosity and believe in conspiracies, so I wonder who the real flat liners are?
Fantasy and illusion is the glue that holds us together, if you attempt to deconstruct the belief system so ingrained in those that depend on that structure to survive you will be met with ridicule and disdain.
The world is one big conspiracy starting with Santa Clause to Muslim terrorist with evil intent.
Bad Religion said it best “Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction”.
You see, most people that believe in conspiracies don’t actually bother to pay attention to what’s happening and then when something does happen, they go “Oh! it’s a conspiracy!”.
Like the NAU for example. It’s not a conspiracy. It’s all out in the open, it’s just that people generally don’t care to know. Lou Dobbs reports on it. There’s government websites that tell you it’s already been signed into law. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just that no one pays attention.
The 9/11 conspiracy is another good example of ignorance. People thinking their government was responsible. Well, it was their government and it’s no secret! Nobody’s hiding the fact the the US government has been making the lives of middle-easterners miserable for decades with proxy wars, assassination, rebel funding, kidnappings etc… So why do you think they flew planes into the towers?
A conspiracy by definition is 2 or more people secretly collaborating to commit a crime. By the standard definition, you couldn’t name many conspiracies as there is likely no crime taking place. If the NWO exists and is trying to bring about one world government, where’s the crime? If they’re passing laws to get it done, where’s the secret?
No, there’s few if any large scale conspiracies, only willfully ignorant masses that can’t be bothered to see what’s really going on and ignore all the tell tale signs and buy the mainstream media garbage until they wake up one day and are being hunted for war crimes.
Hmm. Have you ever actually met anyone who believed everything they heard in politics?
