This is certainly true.
The planet does grow over a very large time scale.
It’s expands due to a micro meteorite here (every few seconds), a mile-wide dinosaur killing asteroid there (every few hundred thousand years), and X number of comets and other space junk of different sizes raining down. A few billion years later, you may notice the growth.

OK, OK, this is not what they are actually referring to, but accretion is valid for increasing the size of planets, moons, and stars over time.

well you’re right on that part,it’s not a fact,it’s an idea supported by a series,probably of thousands,of individual facts. but as things stand,to disprove evolution,all you’d have to do is find a lizard with nipples. but then we’d basically have to re-invent science as a whole,because basically all of the biological sciences work only because evolution is true

Evolution isnt exactly a fact, it is a theory. Many people do not grasp the processes that result in a scientific theory being accepted, and they will merely point a finger and use the word ‘theory’ as if it meant “guess”.

But yeah, I agree on the ‘belief’ component. It’s entirely irrelevant. There’s nothing to believe in, much as pointing to my coffee table and saying ‘that’s a coffee table’ could not be answered with “well I don’t believe in coffee tables”
